ERfC Wants You to Know!

We’re excited to tell you that we’re applying for a five-year grant from the Connecticut Department of Education to help us expand one of our Before & After School Centers to include twenty-six 3rd – 5th grade students from Edgar H. Parkman School. The additional students will have an opportunity to attend the Before School program at Parkman School and be bused at the end of the school-day to the Enfield Street & Parkman After School  Center . If we are funded, the expanded Center will operate during the school-year and summer. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions. Once we have completed the application for funding, we can make it available for the community to review.

Are your kids just plain BORED? Introducing ERfC After School Clubhouse! Join ERfC Staff “after school” through Google Classroom to participate in FREE Homework help, chat time, enrichment activities, and game time with friends and ERfC leaders! Beginning Monday, May 4, we will offer a schedule of activities from 3 to PM daily, Monday – Thursday.

Due to COVID-19, we will be offering a VIRTUAL SUMMER CLUBHOUSE, free of charge to all K-8 students in and around Enfield. We invite you to join ERfC staff for sports, games, science, literacy, arts & crafts, digital media, cooking, and performing arts. The ERfC Summer Clubhouse will be held Monday through Thursday, June 29 through August 13.

Sadly, we had to cancel our signature “Toast of the Town” fundraiser this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. Lucky for you, we have some pretty amazing gift baskets ready to raffle! To help raise funds for the ERfC Scholarship Fund, we will be holding ONLINE RAFFLES on Facebook over the next few weeks. Donations from the raffle ticket sales will benefit the ERfC Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund provides financial support for all Enfield kids to stay active and involved in a variety of academic, enrichment and recreational activities at Summer Escape Camp and Before & After School Centers.
