Counselor in Training (CIT)
Students interested in being a CIT must have a sincere desire to work with children, a strong work ethic, creativity, lots of energy, and a positive attitude. The goal of the ERfC CIT program is to give both volunteer and future work experience to high school students. Students will learn to work as a team, be a positive role model, and gain a good understanding of the work required to be a future camp counselor. CIT applicants must commit to a minimum of two weeks during the summer and be at least 14 years old and entering 9th grade or above in the next school year.
Interested CIT applicants must complete an application form and provide the name of three references, providing them the attached forms. Once all the paperwork is received, the CIT Coordinator will arrange an interview time with the student. If accepted in the CIT program, students will also attend training in June.
Application Process ( online application)
Step One: CIT applications must be returned to ERfC, 119B Post Road, Enfield, CT 06082 by Friday, June 9, 2017. Provide your three references with the two forms to complete. CIT Application
