ERfC Distance Learning Center (DLC)

The ERfC Distance Learning Center (DLC) is offered to families from Enfield and surrounding communities for the 2020-2021 School Year to allow you to work while your kids are distance learning! The ERfC DLC is available 5 days a week, 7 AM to 6 PM and is open on all non-federal holidays. If schools close, the DLC will remain open. The ERfC DLC is located on the lower level of the Enfield Annex (former Fermi High School - 124 North Maple Street). ERfC Staff help your children learn, have fun, and be safe while you are at work!

If you are Hybrid Schedule: Students are in school for two days a week and can enroll in the DLC for three days a week. If you are Distance Learning Only: Students can enroll in the DLC for one to five days a week.

The ERfC DLC  provides students with many opportunities to explore different learning styles by providing a variety of project-based and interactive activities. All grade level teams have a 1:8 student to adult ratio.

ABOUT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS & GUIDELINES: For the safety of our students, staff, volunteers, and families, ERfC follows all the safety guidelines and mandates set by the State of CT, CDC, Enfield Public Schools, and the local Board of Health, for safe operation at all ERfC Centers. Face masks are mandatory and provided as needed. All staff and volunteers working directly with students are mandated to wear both masks and face shields. Temperatures are also taken daily. We supply all cleaning and sanitizing materials at all working locations.

ERfC Centers promote positive youth development while meeting the community's need for keeping Enfield kids safe and families productively employed.

NEW! The ERfC Before & After School Centers are temporarily closing in the Enfield Schools. Before & After School will be available at the Distance Learning Center, with morning transportation to school and afternoon transportation from school provided.
