“A future where every child has access to quality education, enriching experiences, and the support needed to thrive—regardless of background or circumstance.”
Our Journey Since 1994
ERfC began as a grassroots after-school program in Enfield’s Thompsonville neighborhood, founded by Reverend Peter E. Bushnell & Reverend Maryalice Sullivan. What started as a small initiative at St. Andrew’s Church has grown into a leading provider of before- and after-school programs, summer camps, and family services across Enfield.
1994: ERfC launches its first After School Club
1995: Claire Hall joins as the first paid administrator
2002: ERfC is incorporated as Educational Resources for Children
2024: ERfC has served thousands of families over the past 30 years and continues to serve hundreds each year through high-quality, accessible programs.
