The Barnard & Crandall Before & After School Center:
Grade Level: K to 5
Before school: 7:00 AM to start of school
After School : School dismissal to 6:00 PM
Early Release Days: From school release time to 6:00 PM
ERfC out-of-school time activities allow kids with different learning styles to work in groups, explore, and be engaged. We operate quality Before & After School Centers to promote positive youth development while meeting our community’s needs for keeping kids safe and families productively employed.
Enrollment is open throughout the school year and available on a sliding fee scale based on household income to make it affordable for all. We also offer financial assistance and accept Care 4 Kids.
Before School Location: Henry Barnard School (Grades K-2) & Prudence Crandall School (grades 3-5)
After School Location: Henry Barnard (Grades K-5, students are bused from Crandall to Barnard for the After School Program)
Each afternoon, the program begins with a snack and drink, provided by ERfC, before moving to homework help and completion time. Computer lab time, sports & games, community service projects, arts & crafts, STEAM activities and so much more are offered each week to keep kids busy and engaged throughout the afternoon!
