Are you looking for childcare when Enfield schools are closed? Register for our vacation day program!
There’s no better way to spend a school break than with ERfC! This program is for Enfield school students and surrounding towns in grades K-8. We bring the fun and exploration through activities ranging from arts and crafts, sports, STEAM and more. Each day children will receive a breakfast snack and an afternoon snack, but we do not provide lunch.
A minimum of 10 students is needed to run this program. A limited number of spaces are available, register now!
- December Vacation (12/26 to 12/29)
- February Vacation (2/16 & 2/20)
- April Vacation (4/8 to 4/12)
What’s needed each day?
- Wear comfortable clothes & sneakers.
- Bring a cold lunch with drink. Non-perishables, packed with ice packs and peanut-free! (ERfC does not provide lunch, but we do provide snacks.)
Separate registration and payment to attend Vacation Days is required from our regular Before & After School Centers.

We accept Care 4 Kids and offer a reduced daily rate for families who qualify for free/reduced school meals.
*The above Care 4 Kids Application is for families who do not have a current Care 4 Kids care certificate through ERfC. The Care 4 Kids Supplemental Form is for families who have an existing ERfC Care 4 Kids care certificate and wish to add the vacation days program to it.
Registration information:
- Registration deadlines: Register by December 8 for the December Vacation Day. Register by February 2 for February Vacation Days. Register by March 22 for April Vacation Days.
- Participants must complete an online application and provide a copy of current physical form with immunization record when registering.
- Children who have medical needs will also need to have a signed doctor’s authorization of administration of medication form & care plan for each medication.
- All medication will need to be dropped off at the ERfC Administrative Office prior to start of the Vacation Days.
